Happy Holidays

Today is the winter solstice, the point at which our northern hemisphere is tilted as far from the sun as it ever is, making it the shortest day of the year. Tomorrow we turn back towards our bright star.

We will be spending the holidays with our family in Burgundy. We return to St. Malo only after the new year has been rung in. Until then, when I will take up my blog once more, have a very happy season. May joy and light enter into all our hearts and lives.

  1. I love and miss you my sweet sister! Hug your beautiful family for me! I long for the days of old lately, when we were all together at VIne hill. Time goes by too quickly.

  2. Love to everyone! And thank you for your lovely dispatches, following your art and travel adventures. They are, and we feel it painfully, all too "far from home."
